UAT Functional Tester

CoreKonnect is seeking a skilled UAT Functional Tester with hands-on experience in payment systems and API testing for one of our top-tier banking clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong communication skills, and brings a detailed, user-centric approach to software testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for banking applications, ensuring functionality aligns with business requirements.
  • Perform functional validation for various payment types, including Wires, ACH, Interac, and EFT.
  • Utilize Postman or similar tools for API testing, validating endpoints and data exchange.
  • Document test scenarios, results, and defects clearly, collaborating with development and business teams to resolve issues.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.

Must have skills

  • 7+ years of experience in UAT or functional testing within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems (Wires, ACH, Interac, EFT).
  • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with OLBB (Online Business Banking) platforms
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems in banking contexts.
